- At 5:30 Pm Thursday The Stage Was 1015 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 1002 Feet.
- Moderate Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue Falling To Near 1009 Feet By 1
Am Friday Morning. The River Will Fall Below Flood Stage Early Friday.
- At 1016 Feet Stewart Branch Road And Homes Along Highway 25 E
Begin Flooding.

The Flood Warning Continues For
The Clinch River Above Tazewell Tn.
- Until Sunday Afternoon.
- At 11:30 Pm Thursday The Stage Was 18.2 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 12.0 Feet.
- Moderate Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue Rising To Near 20.0 Feet By This
Afternoon But Is Then Expected To Begin Falling. The River Will
Fall Below Flood Stage By Sunday Morning.
- At 21.0 Feet Backwater Moving Upstream Begins To Affect The Town
Of Sneedville, Hancock County, Tennessee. The City Of Tazewell,
Tennessee Is Not Affected By Flooding Of The Clinch River.

The Flood Warning Continues For
The Cumberland River At Williamsburg.
- At 5:00 Pm Thursday The Stage Was 26.3 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 21.0 Feet.
- Minor Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue Rising To Near 29.6 Feet By
Early Saturday Morning. The River Will Fall Below Flood Stage
Sunday Morning.
- At 31.0 Feet Flooding Threatens Many Homes And Businesses. Roads
Begin To Flood, Severing Evacuation Routes. Major Flooding
Threatens Downtown Area.

- At 5:30 Pm Thursday The Stage Was 34.3 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 27.0 Feet.
- Moderate Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue Rising To Near 37.2 Feet By This
Evening. The River Will Fall Below Flood Stage Late Friday Morning.
- At 36.6 Feet Roads Begin Flooding In Heidrick. Homes Begin
Flooding On South Main.

The National Weather Service In Jackson Ky Has Extended The
- Flood Warning For
Snowmelt In
Harlan County In Southeastern Kentucky
Bell County In Southeastern Kentucky
- Until 1245 Pm Est Friday
- At 200 Am Est The Cumberland River Was In Flood In Bell County
And The River Was Still Running High In Western Portions Of Harlan
County. Backwater From This Is Flooding Low Lying Areas And
Tributary Creeks And Streams And Some Roads Near The River Are
Likely Impassable. The River Has Crested Or Was Nearing Crest And
The Water Should Recede Out Of The Affected Areas By Early Friday
Afternoon.
- Some Locations That Will Experience Flooding Include
Harlan Pineville Middlesboro Cumberland Loyall Evarts
Lynch Benham Wallins Creek Creech Sunshine Smith
Calvin South Wallins Stony Fork Junction Ponza
Shields Grays Knob And Hutch.

At 1047 Pm Est Local Law Enforcement Continued To Report Flooding
Along/near Area Streams And Rivers. Several Roadways Remain
Flooded Across The Area. Snow Melt And Recent Heavy Rains Have
Resulted In Flooding Across The Area. Additional Flooding
Problems Are Possible.

Through Tonight As The River Gradually Crests Along The
Cumberland River.

Dorthae Vox Green Road Clate Blackwater Girdler Moore
Hill Sprule Bertha Station Suttons Mill King Emmanuel
Haven Brush Creek And Mchargue.
