- Forecast The River Has Crested And Will Continue To Fall To
Below Flood Stage By Late This Evening.
- At 36.6 Feet Roads Begin Flooding In Heidrick. Homes Begin
Flooding On South Main.

The Flood Warning Continues For
The Clinch River Near Speers Ferry Va.
- Until Saturday Morning.
- At 10:15 Am Friday The Stage Was 23.6 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 18.0 Feet.
- Minor Flooding Is Occurring And Minor Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue To Fall To Below Flood Stage By
After Midnight Tomorrow.
- At 24.0 Feet A Few Additional Homes Are Affected. Evacuations Are
Possible.

- At 10:30 Am Friday The Stage Was 18.4 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 12.0 Feet.
- Moderate Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue To Fall To Below Flood Stage By
Tomorrow Late Evening.

- At 5:00 Am Friday The Stage Was 27.7 Feet.
- Flood Stage Is 21.0 Feet.
- Moderate Flooding Is Occurring And Moderate Flooding Is Forecast.
- Forecast The River Will Continue Rising To Near 29.8 Feet By
Early Saturday Morning. The River Will Fall Below Flood Stage
Sunday Early Afternoon.
- At 31.0 Feet Flooding Threatens Many Homes And Businesses. Roads
Begin To Flood, Severing Evacuation Routes. Major Flooding
Threatens Downtown Area.

The National Weather Service In Jackson Ky Has Extended The
- Flood Warning For
Snowmelt In
Harlan County In Southeastern Kentucky
Bell County In Southeastern Kentucky
- Until 1245 Pm Est Friday
- At 200 Am Est The Cumberland River Was In Flood In Bell County
And The River Was Still Running High In Western Portions Of Harlan
County. Backwater From This Is Flooding Low Lying Areas And
Tributary Creeks And Streams And Some Roads Near The River Are
Likely Impassable. The River Has Crested Or Was Nearing Crest And
The Water Should Recede Out Of The Affected Areas By Early Friday
Afternoon.

Lynch Benham Wallins Creek Creech Sunshine Smith
Calvin South Wallins Stony Fork Junction Ponza

Pm Est Friday For Lee County
At 447 Am Est Many Streams And Creeks Remain At Bankfull Or Higher
This Morning Over Most Of Lee County. Temperatures Will Warm To Near
Or Above Freezing Later Today Under Mostly Sunny Skies. This Will
Allow Additional Runoff From Melting Areas Of Snow And Ice And A
Prolonged Threat Of Minor Flooding Or Worse.
Some Locations That Will Experience Flooding Include
Jonesville Pennington Gap St. Charles Dryden Cumberland
Gap Rose Hill Jasper Pattonsville And Ewing.

Whitley County In South Central Kentucky
Central Bell County In Southeastern Kentucky
- Until 500 Pm Est Friday
- At 300 Am Est The Cumberland River Continues To Run At Flood
Level Across The Warned Area. As A Result There Is Ongoing
Flooding Of Low Lying Areas And Several Tributary Creeks And
Streams Causing Road Closures On Many Roads Near These Rivers. The
Cumberland Has Crested Or Will Crest By Late Today Across Portions
Of Bell And Knox Counties And Will Then Begin To Recede.
However Backwater Flooding Should Continue Into The Weekend In
Whitley County.
- Some Locations That Will Experience Flooding Include
London Williamsburg Barbourville Corbin Liberty
Dorthae Vox Green Road Clate Blackwater Girdler Moore
Hill Sprule Bertha Station Suttons Mill King Emmanuel
Haven Brush Creek And Mchargue.

However All Interested Parties Should Take Necessary Precautions
