TEMPERATURES WARM UP DURING THE DAY SWITCHING PRECIPITATION OVER
TO RAINFALL IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS...HOWEVER THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS WILL LIKELY REMAIN COLD ENOUGH DURING THE DAYTIME
HOURS TO RECEIVE MUCH MORE SNOW DUE TO THE COLD TEMPERATURES.

A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AND SOUTHERN
APPALACHIANS LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING...BRINGING WITH
IT A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW. AS THE COLD AIR MOVES INTO THE AREA
ON MONDAY...THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW DURING THE
AFTERNOON. SNOW SHOWERS AND SNOW FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY
NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY...DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF SUFFICIENT
MOISTURE AND THE SUBFREEZING AIR IN PLACE. THERE IS STILL SOME
UNCERTAINTY OF THE STRENGTH OF THIS SYSTEM...BUT SOME LIGHT
SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE VALLEY...WITH SOME
