GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — After replacing a bird feeder, a family was visited by some surprising guests.

Mary Ann Booth and her family noticed their new bird feeder was becoming crooked. That is when they realized that an animal other than a bird was visiting their property for mealtime.

One day the family saw a mother bear and her young at the feeder.

Booth and her family have seen more bears than usual this year near their property.
