When mother nature is at her worst, you need to be prepared for what’s heading your way and that’s why the WATE 6 Storm Team is hitting the road during their Storm Team Tour. From making sure you know what to do during a tornado, to how to stay safe during flash flooding and lightning, we’ll be there to make sure how everyone learns how to stay aware and alert during severe weather.

The WATE 6 Storm Team will be at the following locations starting at 7:00 p.m.:

  • May 11 – Anderson County High School, 130 Maverick Circle, Clinton
  • May 18 – Coulter Grove Intermediate School, 2025 Sevierville Road, Maryville
  • May 25 – The Venue at Lenoir City, 7690 Creekwood Park Blvd, Lenoir City
  • June 1 – Grace Baptist Church Student Center, 7171 Oak Ridge Highway, Knoxville

Matt Hinkin says the WATE 6 Storm Team will help your family make plans for severe weather. Afterward, the storm team will answer questions.

“We’ll have some severe weather safety for your house, for your family, all different types of severe weather, some teaching, some interactive,” said Matt Hinkin. “Everyone is invited to come out.
