Don King to make trip to Tennessee, pass out turkeys to those in need

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Well-known boxing promoter Don King will make his way to Tennessee to pass out frozen turkeys to those in need.

King is scheduled to make a stop in Nashville on Monday to pass out the food.

The event will be at 11 a.m. at the Community Care Fellowship located at 511 South Eighth Street in East Nashville.

The following day, King will travel to East Tennessee where he will hand out turkeys to wildfire victims in Sevier County. It will take place at the Sevier County Fairground at 11 a.m. next to the Sevier County Food Ministries. The Sevier County Food Ministries will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday.

In all, he plans to donate 750 turkeys to the less fortunate in the state.

Both stops are part of King’s turkey giveaway tour, which he does every year.
