Tennessee sells out ticket allotment for Music City Bowl

NASHVILLE (WATE) – Tennessee Volunteer fans are showing up in force for the Music City Bowl.

Tennessee Athletics announced that they were sold out of their 8,000 ticket allotment for the game, which kicks-off December 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. There are still tickets left for the game, but they must be purchased through the Music City Bowl’s website.

The Volunteers are also hoping to be #MountainTough as they wear their “Smokey Grey” uniform for the game.ย The uniforms debuted when Tennessee played Georgia in October 2015. The Smokey Grey helmets have the familiar orange Power T, but it rests on a shell that features a mountain pattern in shades of gray.

The team posted that they would wear the uniforms, saying “We are wearing our hearts on our sleeves to honor the victims of the Gatlinburg wildfires.”
