Knoxville robbery suspect arrested days before birthday

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A Knox County man was arrested after a series of robberies in the area.

Dudley Aaron Moore, 37, was arrested at a motel in North Knoxville Monday. Investigators say Moore is the suspect in three robbery cases in Knoxville and at least one case in Knox County.

On November 24, a CVS at 4864 North Broadway was robbed. Days later a robbery occurred at the Subway at 4803 North Broadway on November 28. The Shoe Show at 6721 Clinton Highway was robbed on November 30.

Investigators say at the time Moore was arrested, he was wearing the same clothing that witnesses described in the robberies.

He faces charges for aggravated robbery, simple possession for heroin and drug paraphernalia possession. Also, Moore had five sexual offender registry violation of probation warrants for his arrest.

He is being held on a $94,000 bond at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility. Moore’s birthday is Tuesday.
