Car rear ends train after driving on Knoxville tracks


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – According to Knox County dispatch, Knoxville Police Department responded to a driving under the influence call around 11 p.m. Friday after a car rear ended a train.

The driver turned onto the tracks at Neyland Drive and crashed into the back of the train.

No one was hurt and no arrests were made in the incident. No word on what caused the driver to attempt to drive on the tracks.
