KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The interstate ramp connecting Clinton Highway to I-75 South reopened at around 10 a.m. Saturday after a tractor trailer crash lead to a gasoline spill.
No one was injured in the wreck and no other vehicles were involved.
The ramp connecting Clinton Highway to I-275 South is closed due to a tractor trailer collision.
Knoxville Police tweeting out a photo of the crash, calling it a “hazmat situation.”
No information about the driver’s condition or the nature of the hazmat spill has been released at this time.
Authorities are requesting all traffic avoid the area if possible. The ramp is expected to re-open by 9:30 A.M.
