KNOXVILLE (WATE) – After defeating Kentucky on Saturday, the University of Tennessee Volunteers are preparing to go against the University of Missouri.

Saturday’s win was the fifth straight victory over the Wildcats. Cam Sutton, who missed the last six games after fracturing his ankle Sept. 17 against Ohio, returned to the field. The Vols defensive back passed Jabari Greer with 36 pass breakups, the most all-time at Tennessee.

Coach Butch Jones said it is questionable that Dyland Weisman and Chance Hall will be playing Saturday. He said it is doubtful with Todd Kelly Jr.

Jones spent time talking about the senior class. “They’ve made a lasting impact on Tennessee football,” said Jones.

He said the class will be prepared for the game of life due to graduating college. “there are so many great players who have played in Neyland,” said Jones.

Tennessee is back in the rankings this week as No. 19. Mizzou is not ranked. “We’re responsible for what we create. I don’t really look into [rankings],” said Jones.

Mizzou beat Vanderbilt Saturday 17-26. This weekends game will be at Neyland at 3:30 p.m.
