GREENEVILLE (WJHL) – One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash on Highway 70 in Greene County Thursday.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report, a 2009 Ford F150 was traveling northbound on Highway 70 when it went off the road and into a ditch.
The truck then continued up an embankment, causing the vehicle to rollover onto the driver’s side. The truck then continued traveling northbound and slid onto Highway 70, crossing the center line and hit a 2007 Ford F450.
The driver of the F150 was identified as Michael O. Edwards, 27, of Chuckey, Tenn. Edwards was killed in the crash.
The driver of the F450 was identified as Jeffrey Ray Rash, 52, of Bristol, Tenn. He and his two passengers — ages 3 and 5 — were injured in the crash.
