KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Tennessee has finally ended its pattern of slow starts and now the Volunteers hope to carry that pattern to a fast finish over Kentucky.
The Volunteers host the Wildcats Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The game starts at noon on the SEC Network.
The Vols (6-3, 2-3 SEC) are a 15-point favorite over Kentucky. However, the pressure is on as Tennessee works to play in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
If the Vols finish the season with wins over the Wildcats, Missouri and Vanderbilt and the Gators lose at home to South Carolina or LSU on November 19, Tennessee will win the division and play in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
