Monroe County (WATE) – A motorcycle wreck, Saturday afternoon, in Monroe county leads to several charges for a Madisonville man, including DUI and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
The driver of the motorcycle, Jacady Terry, was travelling west on Reagan Valley Rd. and approached a stop sign, while the driver of a 1982 GMC Sierra was travelling north on state hwy 68. Terry drove into the right side of the GMC. Two Monroe County deputies were sitting near the intersection and witnessed the crashed.
Terry wasn’t wearing a helmet. He sustained a serious leg and back injury and was flown to UT Medical Center and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Terry was charged with 9 different offenses, including DUI, Habitual Motor Vehicle Offender, Possession of a schedule II controlled substance, failure to exercise due care, violation of the mirror law, violation of the helmet law, operating an unregistered vehicle, no insurance, driving on a revoked license and misuse of registration.
