Former UT coach Phillip Fulmer to meet fans at Morristown Dick’s Sporting Goods opening

MORRISTOWN (WATE) – Former University of Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer will be at the grand opening for a Dick’s Sporting Goods location in Hamblen County this weekend.

The store will be the company’s 17 location in Tennessee. The grand opening of the 2550 East Morris Blvd location in Morristown will start at 7:45 a.m. Friday. Early guests will have the chance to receive gifts at 7:45 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Also, the first 100 people in line on Friday can receive a free Adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt. The first 100 adults in line on Saturday and Sunday can receive a free Mystery Gift Card ranging from $5 to $500. One person will receive the $500 each day.

Fulmer will be at the event from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Also, former NFL and UT football player Peerless Price will be at the store on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
