Deputies find drugs, weapons and pills in North Knoxville home

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A North Knoxville man faces several charges after officers found a large amount of drugs, cash and guns at his home.

Tiberius Norries, 23, is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to go armed, possession of Schedule VI and Schedule II drugs and theft.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit officers searched his home at 926 Raleigh Avenue on Thursday night and found 1,059 oxycodone and opana pills hidden throughout the house; $61,511 in cash; two handguns, one of which was stolen; two shotguns; and a stolen motorcycle.

Norries was taken into custody on $105,000 bond. He has a criminal history of failure to appear, drug charges and traffic offenses.
