MORRISTOWN (WATE) – A Hamblen County man was arrested after a traffic stop Monday.
Nathaniel Colby Singleton was arrested after officers of the Hamblen County Narcotics Unit stopped a vehicle on West Andrew Johnson Highway. Singleton had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Investigators say a resident on Dover Road reported that his flat-bottom boat was stolen out of his driveway on August 24. Two days later, another Morristown resident reported that someone broke into a building on Luther Proffit Road and stole fishing poles, tackle boxes and a weed eater.
Singleton is being held at the Hamblen County Jail on a $35,000 bond. He faces charges for burglary, theft of property and failure to appear.
