KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Southern Living Magazine placed one lucky Knoxville bakery on its “The South’s Best Cupcakes” list.
Magpies Bakery was one of ten bakeries on the list. At the Knoxville bakery, customers can buy cakes, cupcakes, cookies cheesecakes, banana pudding and pies. All of the sweets are made from scratch. There are no preservatives in the bakery’s products.
The bakery has two locations in Knoxville: 846 N. Central Street and a mini store inside the Village Exchange at 6513 Kingston Pike. Products can also be found at the Farragut Marketplace Kroger, Ceder Bluff Kroger, Three Rivers Market, Holly’s Gourmets Market and Cafe and Holly’s Corner. Customers can look at the bakery’s menu for each day on the business’s website.
Gigi’s Cupcakes appeared on the list as well. The Nashville-based company has more than 100 locations, including stores in Knoxville and Pigeon Forge.
