Tennessee teacher accused of taking prescription meds from nurse’s office

EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An elementary teacher at Eagleville School accused of taking prescription medicine from the nurse’s office has been suspended. Eagleville is south of Nashville.

Jessica Holland, 34, is charged with theft under $500 and possession of a Schedule II narcotic.

She has been an employee with the district since 2014 and does not have a disciplinary record.

Her suspension without pay is effective immediately.

She has since been released on a $4,000 bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
