NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Vandals stole a bus from an east Nashville high school early Tuesday morning and crashed it through two fences.

Someone reported seeing the bus going at high rate of speed near Maplewoodf High School before it was found abandoned on the football field.

The vandals drove the bus through two chain link fences and over the track before they started doing donuts on the field.

When WKRN crews arrived at the field there was the front grill of a school bus laying just inside the damaged fence.

Football coaches arrived just after 6 a.m. to check the field and sprinkler system for damage.
