Injured Vols player Danny O’Brien says he is ‘all good’

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Tennessee Vols Offensive Lineman Danny O’Brien was taken off the field in a stretcher as fans looked worried during Saturday’s game against Texas A & M.

Both teams took a knee while paramedics rushed onto the field and strapped him into a stretcher. Concerns were raised about a possible concussion or neck injury.

Now we’re getting an update on his condition from the player himself. O’Brien Tweeted Sunday saying he’s going to be “all good.”

He used hashtag Beat Bama as well, which could indicate he’ll be able to play in next week’s face off against number one ranked Alabama at Neyland Stadium.

There’s been no official word on whether he will be well enough to play.
