3 Georgia residents arrested in Blount County on drug charges

MARYVILLE (WATE) – Three Georgia residents were arrested in Blount County Wednesday.

Javares Jeruntez Smith, 36, Thomas Anthony Bradley, 25, Felita Shaquawn Brownman,24, were arrested after investigators were notified about a suspicious person. The woman was trying to pass a fraudulent prescription, according to the report. When the investigators arrived to the business, the suspect had already left.

The three were found at a business on Foothills Mall Drive after several leads. Investigators found two bottles of Promethazine-Codeine syrup and 13 fraudulent prescriptions inside the vehicle.

Smith and Bradley face charges for obtaining drugs by fraud, drug possession with intent to resell, and criminal conspiracy to commit prescription fraud.

Brownman, faces charges for obtaining drugs by fraud and criminal conspiracy to commit prescription fraud.
