1 injured in Knoxville house fire

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Crews battled a fire in Northeast Knoxville Wednesday morning.

The structure fire is near the 3600 block of Selma Avenue. Knoxville Fire Department said everyone inside the house was able to make it out, but one patient was taken to University of Tennessee Hospital with minor burns to their lower extremity.

Selma Avenue was closed early Wednesday morning, but was expected to reopen at around 7:00 a.m. There is no more information at this time.
