KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Calling all ye matey! The Tennessee Pirate Fest is coming to Harriman for Columbus Day. Harriman will become home to the Port Royale in the Caribbean.
“We are throwing a pirate party and everyone is invited,” said Barrie Paulson, VP-Manager & Entertainment Director.
Guests are encouraged to come in costume for the chance to win a prize.
Pirates will gather for live music, comedy acts, costume contests, games, crafts, food and beverages. Acts will include an interactive comedy show, performances by Outlaw Ritual, PanEZ, Three RRR’s and more. There will be karaoke, corn hole, volleyball, limbo and other games. Children can hunt for treasure for $2.
Pirate Fest will be October 8-9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets for the festival are $13 for pirates ages 13 and up. Younger pirates can get tickets for $8. Those 4-years-old and younger can attend for free. The event will have free parking.
The event will take place at the site of the Tennessee Medieval Faire at 550 Fiske Road. No pets, outside food or drinks, loaded guns or sharp weapons are allowed. Stage weapons must be sheathed and zip-tied.
