Child victim in South Carolina school shooting to have superhero funeral

TOWNVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – The family of  Jacob Hall, the 6-year-old victim of a shooting at a South Carolina elementary school, is planning a superhero funeral.

Jacob’s mother, Renee Hall, says Jacob loved superheroes, and his uncles and brothers, who will be the pallbearers at the funeral, will be dressed in superhero outfits.

Jacob’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, and his parents are asking that everyone dress as their favorite superhero.

The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Heroes for Higher LLC says that they will be leaving West Virgina at about 4:00 a.m. so that they can attend Hall’s funeral.

They will be bringing the HopeMobile to the funeral.

Family and Friends’ visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Oakdale Baptist Church, according to Jacob’s aunt.
