Arts & Cultural Alliance hosts once in a lifetime event in Knoxville


KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Arts & Cultural Alliance held a unique dining experience on the Gay Street Bridge in celebration of Knoxville’s 225th birthday, Sunday night.

Dinner on the Bridge is an evening event that features a cocktail hour, dinner and dessert by Ruth’s Chris Steak House, remarks by City of Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero, the inaugural poem of R.B. Morris, the City of Knoxville Poet Laureate and entertainment by Carol Zinavage.

All of the net proceeds will go into the Arts & Heritage Fund, which supports local arts and heritage organizations that preserve, promote, and present Greater Knoxville’s own unique joie de vivre (joy of life).
