KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Knoxville real estate firm, Avison Young is growing. The company will relocate from its current location on Lonas Drive to 630 S. Concord St., the current home of Tombras Group.
“Once the Concord property became available, we quickly worked to secure it. It offers a more modern look with a great outdoor space for client and employee entertainment,” said John Adams, CCIM, SIOR, principal with Avison Young. “The expansion of the commercial real estate industry in East Tennessee continues to drive our growth, and this move is an investment in not only our company’s culture, but will also allow us to better serve the needs of our clients.”
“By making this move, we’re placing a permanent stake in the Knoxville market,” added Adams. “The larger space also provides us the opportunity to build on our culture, which is centered on employee growth and a strong commitment to the community.”
Also of note, commercial real estate veteran, Brian Tapp has joined the firm as senior vice president. He joins Avison Young after working with NAI Knoxville for more than a decade. In 2015, he was named to the Greater Knoxville Business Journal’s “40 under 40” list and has twice been honored as the Knoxville CCIM Broker of the Year. Tapp is a Knoxville native and University of Tennessee graduate.
