Kentucky woman arrested, drugs found in car

BEE CREEK (WATE) – A woman was arrested after drug paraphernalia and pills were found in a car in Whitley County, Kentucky.

Susan Thomas, 45, was arrested after a traffic stop Friday. Investigators say her car’s registration was expired and there was a warrant out for her arrest to appear in court in Pulaski County.

Investigators found $500, a plastic bag with pills believed to be hydrocodone, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, small pipes, a digital scale, empty plastic bags and other items. Some of the bags contained drug residue, says the report.

Thomas faces charges for drug possession, having drug paraphernalia and trafficking of a controlled substance.
