KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Southeastern Development released a rendering of the new Corporate Headquarters for Regal Entertainment Group.
Knoxville city leaders voted in July to move Regal Cinemas’ new headquarters to the South Knoxville waterfront project. The 178,000 square foot Office Tower with the adjoining parking deck at 101 E. Blount Avenue will become the new corporate headquarters for Regal Entertainment Group.
The Riverwalk will also include multi-family housing, student housing, two professional buildings, a retail and restaurant area and hotel. The multi-family apartments will include 300 units. The first units of the multi-family and student apartments are scheduled to finish in 2017.
A Riverwalk and public event plaza overlooking the Tennessee River and Downtown Knoxville will also be part of the overall development. Developers say the design includes 1,100 feet of walking space along the river for pedestrian and bicyclists, two plazas and 37,500 square feet of public space adjacent to the Henley Bridge with amphitheater seating and an interactive fountain.
Southeastern Development says anyone interested in retail or restaurant space should contact Tommy Saul, Rhodes Seeger or Chris Senn at (706) 722-5565 for more information.
