8th annual Taste of Anderson County celebrates local flavors

OAK RIDGE (WATE) – The eighth annual Taste of Anderson County will celebrate the flavors and sounds of the community. The event is Thursday night from 4 to 8 p.m. at Jackson Square in Oak Ridge.

Tickets are only $1 at the door and allow people to sample food from various local vendors. You can also take a voting card to participate in exclusive wine and moonshine tastings.

There will also be several local musicians on hand:

  • 4:00 Phil and the Phat Notes
  • 4:45 Jubal
  • 5:30 Twelve Years Truce
  • 6:15 The Unnamed
  • 7:15 Collectors Edition

There will also be activities for kids, including face painting, balloon animals and a magic show.
