ROBBINS, Tenn. (WATE) – The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman who was reported missing.

The sheriff’s office said the last time anyone has heard from Jessica (Howard) Drake was Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. She was on her way to a doctor’s appointment in Knoxville and was supposed to have dinner with a friend after the appointment.

Deputies said Drake texted the friend that she had broken down in Robbins, but was still coming to dinner. However, deputies said Drake never made it to the doctor’s appointment and did not show up for dinner.

Scott County Sheriff’s Office says someone called law enforcement claiming to be Jessica Drake and that she was not missing. The caller¬†was told that she needed to make a physical appearance to investigators. Scott County Sheriff’s Office said, “We hope that she is safe, but we can’t just assume that she’s safe based on a phone call. Until then, we have to leave the missing persons report up.”

Drake was last seen driving a black 1991 Dodge Caravan with a gray bottom. Anyone with information is asked to call (423) 319-8536. The sheriff’s office said Drake’s family is very concerned and worried about her.
