NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man was shot while walking down Broadway in Downtown Nashville Saturday night.
It happened at the intersection of Second Avenue North and Broadway around 10 p.m.
Metro police said the man was walking with his girlfriend when he felt the gunshot strike him in the back near his shoulder.
The man flagged down another pedestrian and asked them to call 911.
Metro police reported no one saw where the shot came from and said the wound appears to be from a small caliber round.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are reviewing area surveillance video to learn more.
No additional information was immediately released.
