Special Screening of Willy Wonka to be shown in theaters

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Regal Cinemas will show a special screening of Willy Wonka at the Pinnacle in Turkey Creek to honor the legacy of late actor, Gene Wilder.

Wilder passed away August 28, 2016 because of complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.

The showing will happen Saturday, September 3 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the theater.

Wilder was known for his frizzy hair and appearances in other movies including “Young Frankenstein” and “The Producers.”
