Kelsea Ballerini makes 10-year-old’s dream come true

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – County music star and Knox County native Kelsea Ballerini made a 10-year-old’s dream come true last weekend.

Mia was diagnosed with a hear condition and told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that her dream was to sing will Ballerini. The two performed the song “Dibs” at the singer’s Virginia Beach concert. Ballerini is on Rascal Flatts’ “Rhythm and Roots” tour.

The star will be performing at the Tennessee Theatre November 11.

Her song “Peter Pan” became gold this week. It is the singer’s third song to become a gold-certified number one hit. Her other songs include “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs.”

Currently, she is a co-host for the ABC show “Greatest Hits.” The show airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on WATE 6 On Your Side.
