KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Knoxville Tennessee Water Professionals Conference is hosting the event at World’s Fair Park.

The event is to educate the community about the environment. There will be an inflatable slide, snow cones, zoo animals, wildlife exhibits, games and the “People’s Choice Award” water tasting competition. Children will be able to make jewelry, compete in races and a bag toss, and collect stamps.

The event is able to help Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts receive badges. Boy Scouts could receive badges in Environmental Science, Sustainability and Plumbing. The event says girl scouts could receive badges for junior-level animal habitats and flowers, or cadette-level trailblazing and trees, or ambassador-level water.

The event is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
