Kroger recalls ‘Deluxe S’mores Ice Cream’ due to possible peanut contamination

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WISH) – Kroger is recalling Kroger Deluxe S’mores Ice Cream because the product may contain peanuts not listed on the label.

Kroger said they issued the recall when one of their supplies, Grain Craft, said a raw ingredient may have become contaminated with low levels of peanut residue. The recall said people who are allergic to peanuts could have a severe reaction if they eat the product.

No reports have been made at this time. The stores operating under the Kroger,  Dillons, Baker’s, Gerbes, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, JayC, King Soopers, City Market, QFC, Ralphs and Smith’s names are affected.

The stores affected in the following states include:

The product has been removed from store shelves at Kroger.

Those allergic to peanuts who have purchased the product should not consume it and return them to a store for a full refund. Anyone with questions is asked to call Kroger at 1-800-KROGERS.
