Henley Bridge lights to honor slain Dallas officers, Pat Summitt

Henley Bridge lit orange, white and blue for Pat Summitt.

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The lights on Knoxville’s Henley Bridge will be illuminated this week in honor of the five police officers shot and killed in Dallas, as well as legendary Lady Vols Coach Pat Summitt, whose public memorial is being held.

The lights will be blue Monday and Tuesday night in honor and memory of the officers and their families. Five officers were fatally shot in the attacks last week, and at least nine officers and two civilians were wounded.

Then Wednesday night, the lights will change to orange, white and blue in honor of Summitt’s life and legacy. Her public memorial is Thursday night at Thompson Boling Arena. The lights will remain those colors through the weekend.
