YWAC offers kitten special, competing to win grant

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Young-Williams Animal Center is offering an adoption on kittens.

Potential owners can adopt a kitten for $40. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, according to the center. Clove is available for adoption. He is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair/mix.

Adoptions will include services provided by standard fees: veterinary physical exam, spray/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations and a microchip. Regular fees costs $50 to $100.

Also, the organization is competing to win a grant. The rescue that raises the most money through Crowdrise by August 14 will receive a $50,000 grant as a part of the Michelson Found Animals Saving Pets Challenge. To help Young-Williams, visit its Crowdrise page.
