KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The trial date for a man at the center of a nationwide Amber Alert and murder investigation was set Friday.
Tyler Enix is accused of killing his ex-wife, Kimberly, at her Fountain City home and then skipping town with their daughter. Enix and his daughter were found in Ohio. Officers said the two-year-old girl was not harmed.
His trial date is set for February 6, 2017. He will have a status hearing October 7. There was no plea.
The state is requesting for all the domestic crimes Enix was involved in to be allowed to use in trial.
