KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Taco Bell says posing in a flower field, with a football or in your letterman jacket is overrated. The restaurant chain is sharing senior photos that were taken at Taco Bell.
At the top of the list is Knoxville teen Nathaniel Smith, who took photos with his beloved Doritos Locos Taco on the railroad tracks. Taco Bell commented on their website that Smith was on the “right track in life.”
The Powell High School graduate said he loves the fast food chain so much he couldn’t think of anywhere more fitting to take his portraits than with his beloved tacos. So, he set out with his photographer friend, Cassidy Roberts, to profess “Yo quiero Taco Bell!” on camera.
“I’ve always loved Taco Bell. It started my sophomore year as a Sunday night tradition after church with close friends,” he told ABC News of his obsession. “As time went on we started going three to four days out of the week! Anyone who knows me and my friends knows how much we love it there.”
The spicy photo session only lasted about 20 minutes, because Smith joked it got a little awkward with all of the customers staring at him.
Of course, the girl who started the trend, Brittany Creech, became a viral sensation with her photos. “Remember when I told you guys I was gonna get my senior pictures at taco bell and youth thought I was joking,” tweeted Creech with the photos.
Other teens took to the restaurant, lining up hot sauce packets with their graduation year and posing with their favorite food or drink items in graduation gear.
