GREENBACK (WATE) – A country music star is coming to East Tennessee in October.
“It feels great, we’re really excited about it,” said Paden Sawyer, co-owner of the farm.
Maple Lane Farms announced Tuesday that Luke Bryan perform at the farm in Greenback on October 6. The concert will be the second stop on the singer’s 2016 Farm Tour. It brought nearly 20,000 people to Blount County last year, and now fans in East Tennessee are ready to head back out to the farm for Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour.
“I was super excited. I’m going to get my tickets as soon as they go on sale. I cannot wait for October 6. It’s going to be fun,” said Brandon Moyers.
Fans of all ages were excited to hear the news.
“Because I love his songs,” said Lily Koelzer.
At only 6 years old, Koelzer might be one of Luke Bryan’s youngest fans, but she also might be one of his biggest. This year will be her third farm tour experience at Maple Lane Farms. With a signed pillow and T-shirt, Lily is ready to see what this year’s concert will hold.
“We get there real early and stand in those lines. You just make sure you bring all your friends and it’s a great time. It’s totally worth it,” said her mother Jennifer Smith.
For many, even with tens of thousands packed in, it is the atmosphere of a concert on a farm they enjoy.
“With the farm tour he interacts with the crowd. Sometimes he’ll let other people sing. He’ll hand the microphone down to the people in the crowd,” said Moyers.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale June 24.
“The concert itself gives the farm so much exposure directly and indirectly. It financially benefits us,” said Sawyer.
Pre-sale for VIP tickets will start June 21. VIP tickets include: one general admission ticket, early entry, access to VIP viewing area, private cash bar, one parking pass, one “Luke Bryan Farm Tour” gift, one digital download of The Luke Bryan Farm Tour 5 Song EP and one VIP laminate.
