PIGEON FORGE (WATE) – Dolly Parton’s Lumberjack Adventure opened Friday with multi-million dollar designed sets and special effects one can only expect from the country star.

Parton purchased the dinner theater in the summer of 2015 with plans to update and enhance the show for the 2016 season. The dinner theater opened in 2011.

The show has a little of everything, from acrobatic performances, music, dancing to ax juggling. Parton even donned a prop ax for the opening of Lumberjack Adventure.

While guests watch the show, they will also get to dine on homemade biscuits, fried chicken, pulled pork and mashed potatoes. For details on tickets visit Lumber Jack Adventure’s website.
