Knoxville hip-hop artists to perform at end hunger event

Hip Hop for Hunger will benefit Mobile Meals

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Hip-hop artists and performers from round East Tennessee are coming together for a good cause.

The Scarecrow Foundation is hosting Hip Hop for Hunger April 15. The event will benefit Mobile Meals.

Mobile Meals is Knoxville’s Meals on Wheels program. The program provides meals to Knox County residents over the age of 60-years-old.

Artists at the event include Maggie Gardner Tankersley, Mallory Bertrand, Roger Gregg, Crystal Bolden and Sam Artman. Audiences can expect performances by Mr. ILL, Daddy Rich, Bandz Featuring Daddy Rich and Bobby Fuego.

The Scarecrow Foundation strives to end hunger by supporting hunger agencies and food pantries in Knoxville.

The event will be at The International at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available online.
