Welcome home ceremony Saturday in Knoxville for Vietnam veterans

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1078 is holding a special welcome home ceremony for Vietnam veterans Saturday in World’s Fair Park in Knoxville.

The ceremony begins at 1 p.m. at the East Tennessee Veterans Memorial. Several people are scheduled to speak, including Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, along with the presentation of the Missing Man Table, Soldier’s Cross and the playing of Taps.
