UT Board of Trustees to privately meet with legal counsel on Title IX lawsuit

The board will discuss a variety of issues in a public meeting

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Board of Trustees for the University of Tennessee will gather for a meeting March 31-April 1.

In a non-public meeting, the board will receive legal counsel on the Title IX lawsuit facing the university. The board will not make or discuss an action on the case during the meeting, according to a university press release.

Also, the board will have a public meeting April 1 at 1:30 p.m. (EST) inside the Boiling University Center Ballroom. The public can watch the meeting on a live webcast.

Items on the agenda include naming facilities on the Knoxville campus, campus real estate transactions and out-of-state tuition for UT Martin undergraduates. The board will ratify revisions concerning a plan for performance-based variable compensation.
