ISTANBUL, Turkey (WATE) – The Associated press reports the Istanbul Governor says 4 people were killed and at least 20 were injured in a suicide bombing on a busy street there.
Ambulances responded to the scene of one of Istanbul’s busiest shopping streets which is home to several cafes, restaurants and shops.
The initial reports came shortly before 6 a.m. local time, Saturday.
This comes in the wake of two recent bombing attacks in Turkey’s capital city, Ankara, which were claimed by a Kurdish militant group.
