LAFOLLETTE (WATE) – A man was transported by LifeStar helicopter to University of Tennessee’s trauma center after Lafollette Police Department said he was stabbed.
On Wednesday at around 6:45 p.m., officers said they found Jess Miller, 34, with severe knife wounds to his abdomen. They said Miller was stabbed on Hemlock and 8th Street in LaFollete.

Police said a suspect in the stabbing, Charles White, 44, turned himself into police after midnight Thursday. White is being held at the Campbell County jail on aggravated assault charges.
LaFollette Police Department said they will continue to investigate the stabbing.
