KNOXVILLE (WATE) – An unexpected last-minute signee, Latrell Williams signed on to Tennessee.
The four star recruit is the second Miami commit Tennessee has been able to flip and one of the fastest players in Florida. Tyler Byrd announced late Tuesday he was exchanging his gold and blue for orange and white.
Committed to Miami after visiting there on January 15, Williams signing with Tennessee is a big loss to Miami’s 2016 class. The Hurricanes had a big need for another receiver.
The wide receiver from Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida finished his senior season with 1,035 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also returned three touchdowns.
