KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Baylen Buchanan describes his game as physical and fast.
The Peachtree Ridge High School cornerback’s father took him to check out Tennesse’s campus in the summer of 2014. The three-star prospect has loved Rocky Top ever since.
Buchanan announced he was committing to Tennessee right after the Outback Bowl. “He was a nice pick-up for Tennessee,” said Inside Tennessee’s Danny Parker. “He’s more physical than you would expect for a guy who is small in stature for a corner, doesn’t have a whole lot of weight right now.”
Parker says if Buchanan can put on 15-20 pounds, he’ll be a nice corner for Tennessee down the road.
