WASHINGTON (WATE) – Washington has declared a “snow emergency,” with a projected 18-40 inches projected across the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast.
While some people may be less than excited about the cold temperatures and slick roads, the National Zoo’s Giant Panda is taking time to enjoy it. Tian Tian woke up Saturday morning to a lot of snow and he was pretty excited about it.
The 254 pound Giant Panda was born on August 27, 1997. According to the National Zoo his name means “more and more.”
